Do we offer scholarships?

Scholarships are offered at the discretion of the Course Directors and usually aren't offered until all auditions have been completed (which last year was early December) and places have been offered. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of financial need and ability.

After places in the course have been offered, accepted applicants wishing to apply for a scholarship may do so. Feedback regarding success with a scholarship application then follows.

We offer a part time dance course to maintain and build on the technique that you already have and further develop the skills you need to thrive as a dancer, performer & artist. Click here for more details.

What Happens if I cannot make the set audition times?

You can audition any time.

We have various classes on the casual class timetable that you can attend to auditition.  Give us a call to work out the most suitable class. 

Ian Knowles, the Artistic Director, will observe the class that has been confirmed as your audition class. If you have a specialty, you may be asked to show this after the class. (Please bring any equipment you will need to perform your specialty).

Why not audition by DVD

In your DVD audition we really want to see your technique, your strengths and your performance quality.

Here are some details regarding the DVD and what we would like to see:

• 2 short solos, one which displays your technique and another in your favourite style/genre.
• The solos do not need to be long (45 - 60 secs is sufficient).
• The solos do not need to be choreographed by you.
• If you could also introduce yourself at the beginning - and tell us a little bit about yourself, your history as a dancer, and what you'd like to achieve in your full time year (and beyond) - we'd really appreciate it. 

Ian Knowles, the Artistic Director, and the Course Directors, Deb Cantoni and Ariel Bud will observe the DVD on its arrival and will contact you with the outcome of your audition.
