Train whistle blowing makes a sleepy noise
Leave the car and the stress at home and grab a train, tram or bus to The Space. It's better for the environment, better for your mental state and helps reduce traffic and parking congestion.
The Space is conveniently located close to two train lines, several tram lines and a number of bus lines. No matter where you're coming from, it's easy to get here by public transport!
Trains
The Sandringham line goes from Sandringham to the city stopping at Windsor, Prahran and South Yarra stations. Prahran station is easily less than a 10 minute walk to The Space.
The Cranbourne/Pakenham line goes through Hawksburn station and joins the Sandringham line at the South Yarra station. The Hawksburn station is about a 10 minute walk from The Space.
Trams
The 78/79 tram line goes straight past The Space along Chapel St. Both these trams come from North Richmond. The 78 terminates at Brighton Rd and the 79 continues to Acland St in St Kilda. Get off at the corner of Chapel and Commercial Rds and walk down Chapel St to The Space.
The 72 tram comes from the Melbourne University in the city via Commercial / Malvern Rds and terminates in Camberwell. Get off at the corner of Chapel St and Commercial Rd and walk down Chapel St to The Space.
The 6 tram comes from the Melbourne University in the city via High St and terminates in Glen Iris. Get off at the corner of Chapel and High Sts and walk up Chapel St to The Space.
The 64 and 5 trams pass The Space along Dandenong Rd. They both come from Melbourne University. The 5 terminates in Malvern and the 64 terminates in East Brighton.
There are a number of other trams that travel along St Kilda Rd (only a 15 minute walk from The Space). These include the 3, the 16 and the 67 trams.
Buses
The 216, 219 and 220 buses pass right near The Space along Commercial Rd. Get off at the corner of Chapel and Commercial Rds and walk down Chapel St to The Space.
The 216 bus travels from Caroline Springs to Brighton Beach.
The 219 bus travels from Sunshine Park to Gardenvale.
The 220 bus travels from Sunshine to Gardenvale via The Footscray Market, Southgate and Prahran.
