Dear Parents & Next Gen! Students,
What an epic start to the year! We are now a quarter of the way into 2012 with much more fun to be had.
2012 is an exciting year with lots of NEW classes including acting, drama and cheerleading with some new teachers joining the program. Continue reading below to check out everything that's new for 2012.

EXCITING NEW CLASS!
We are very excited to announce a new fantastic class on our timetable, L.A Funk!
This is a new commercial dance style that will be taught by Shar Mae Amore who has just come back from Los Angeles working with many International Singers. This class will be every Wednesday at 6pm and suitable for 12-16years.
Shar Mae Amore has toured with shuffling legends LMFAO and FAR EAST MOVEMENT. She has also worked alongside LADY GAGA, LIL JOHN, EVE, WILL.I.AM, KESHA, POLOW DA DON and was signed to UNIVERSAL RECORDS under the guidance of PUSSYCAT DOLLS' ROBIN ANTIN in HOLLYWOOD USA with great success as a member of The PARADISO GIRLS topping the charts with their hit song.
Acting & Drama Classes
New classes for 2012
We have updated our Next Gen timetable for 2012 with some awesome new classes, so check them out below.
Film & Tv Acting
Tuesday 6-7pm
•10 to 14 year olds.
•Each class will provide students with practical acting and presenting skills.
•Students will perform T.V and Film Scripts to camera and watch their scenes back to assess and learn.
•Practice taking direction and analysing scripts.
•Learn how to prepare for an audition and a casting.
•Improve confidence, acting skills and industry knowledge.
Jump Start (Beginners Drama)
Monday 4.30pm
•6-9 year olds
•Weekly classes will include a range of different drama games and activities all focussed on the students learning through play.
•Each drama game looks to build the students' confidence, improvisation skills, creative thinking and awareness.
•The students will work on an end of term presentation over 2 terms.
'I.D' (Intermediate Drama)
5.30pm
•9-13 year olds
•Weekly classes will include a range of different drama games and activities to help build students’ confidence, improvisation skills, •communication skills and team work.
•Learn about characterisation and how to read and perform scripts.
•Feel comfortable and confident presenting to an audience.
•Students will also work on an end of term performance over 2 terms.

Cheerleading Intensive Short Course
Saturdays 10am-11.30am May 19th- June 23rd
7-12 yrs
Cheerleading is a fun and challenging activity that combines dance, acrobatics and stunts to create and energetic routine. Students will be taught by the Melbourne Cheer Academy and will be learning an exciting routine for the Mid Year Performance.

Broadway- Open 11.30-12.30pm
A theatrical performance class that combines singing & dancing
Stretch & Strengthen Level 3/4 12.30-1.15pm
Designed to condition a dancers body with the correct techniques required to gain flexibility & muscle strength.
Contemporary Level 3/4 1.30-2.30pm
Is an abstract & physical dance form creating unique shapes & interesting movement that requires a lot of core strength & agility. Taught by the talented and upcoming choreographer Jayden Hicks
