We only use and supply 6mm glass for all our mirrors for a couple of reasons:

1) 6mm glass is less likely to flex and bow giving a straighter and more true image. You really don't want to dance or work out in front of a fun house mirror with distorted legs, stomach or head!

2) 6mm glass is thicker and stronger than 4mm glass and much less likely to break or chip.
